Akothee Husband Name: The Story Behind His Nickname “Omosh”

Kenyan netizens have a knack for humor and seizing every chance to poke fun at any given situation. Akothee’s spouse, Denis Schweizer, also known as Omosh, is no exception as he has been playfully referred to as “Omosh the 7th.”

If you’re wondering how he acquired this nickname, let me give you a brief explanation. The moniker was fashioned in the wake of the 2022 Kenyan election where William Ruto and Raila Odinga were popularly nicknamed “Ruto the Fifth” and “Baba the Fifth,” respectively.

However, while Ruto or Raila were expected to become the fifth president of Kenya, Omosh’s critics contend that he’s the seventh lover on a lengthy list that includes several baby daddies and celebrities like Nelly Oaks.

This whole charade aims to belittle and make Omosh appear gullible and effeminate.

Nonetheless, it doesn’t matter because, as the cliché goes, “all that matters is that they love one another.”

Akothee met her husband during a business trip to Switzerland on July 16, 2022. She reveals that Pius, a long-time friend, introduced her to Omosh, but she wasn’t sure if he was genuinely interested in her.

According to Akothee, Pius called her while she was in France and said that her buddy wanted to do business in Kenya. They had a video conference, and Akothee informed Omosh about her tour business, which piqued his curiosity. It was all business at first, and without her knowledge, Omosh saved his number on her phone as “husband” and advised her not to change it.

She refutes claims that Omosh was aware of her or her ventures before deciding to collaborate with her. Omosh visited Kenya in 2019 and returned in 2021 and 2022, using Bonfire Adventures without knowing about Akothee Safaris.

Lastly, Akothee has a flair for theatrics on social media platforms to express her feelings and opinions about her life and companions. She gave Omosh the nickname “Omosh” because he’s an early riser. Among the Luo people, “Omondi” is a name given to boys born early in the morning. And there you have the reason behind Akothees husband name!
