Nigerian Chef Aims to Break World Record for Longest Cooking Time

In an exciting development, a talented Nigerian chef named Hilda Baci is currently en route to smashing the Guinness World Record for the ‘longest cooking time’ by an individual. Born in Akwa Ibom state, the 27-year-old began her cooking journey on May 11th and has since been relentlessly working towards breaking the world record.

At present, Hilda has already cooked for an incredible 69 hours and is continuing to count. Her cooking project, aptly named “Cook-a-thon”, was inspired by the word ‘marathon’, as she aims to reach new heights through a marathon of cooking.

The current world record holder that Hilda is aiming to beat is Indian chef Lata Tandon, who set the record for cooking for 87 hours and 45 minutes non-stop back in 2019. However, with just 18 hours left to break the Guinness World Record, Hilda is determined to cook for a staggering 96 hours with only 6 hours of rest time.

Many well-known Nigerians, including celebrities like actress Iyabo Ojo, Tonto Dikeh, Comedian Macaroni, actor Ike Ogbonna, and Tobi Bakre, have shown their support for Hilda in her endeavor to make history.

It’s awe-inspiring to see someone so dedicated and passionate about their craft striving for greatness. Hilda Baci is not only putting Nigeria on the map but also proving to the world that anything is possible with determination and hard work. We can’t wait to see her claim her place in the Guinness World Records!
